I like the larger middle pocket with the mesh front so I can find toys quickly. I really like the detachable shoulder strap, you could easily bring this into a restroom without lugging in the stroller and have quick access to the diapers and wipes. The 2 front pockets hold my iPhone with a rubber case and small water bottle nicely. This was not an issue. The straps on this thing make it easy to slide it far enough down that you don't even notice it was there. As for the space, this thing easily holds all I need. And, it has a cup holder, which fit my son's plastic water bottle (see image) without an issue. The slot that was meant for bottles, I used for sunscreen. This product even comes with a long strap so that you can use it more like a purse when you are on the go.
